You hear me talk a lot about visions, long term goals, short term goals, action steps, consistency. Today, I thought I'd share a personal story and a personal journey. About a year and a half ago, I created a vision that included doing a TEDx talk.

Systems And Processes In Marketing and Sales

This week, I want to talk to you about setting up systems and processes for your marketing and sales. They are vitally important in these areas.

I recently talked to a client about putting a process and system around their social media marketing, actually having a marketing calendar set up for three to six months, having things planned out. In a similar way, this series on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) was planned out in a system and process. At Slater Success, we have systems and processes about what week there we publish written, newsletters, what weeks we publish video newsletters, when we release what podcasts and how we promote them.

The Lifetime Value Of A Relationship

The lifetime value of a relationship. This was part of a recent talk I gave and I spoke about the power of meeting someone, building a relationship and watching that flourish into a lifetime of mutual value. Just like a platonic or romantic relationship, it also takes time to build respect and trust in a business relationship. What A Game!

This year, I had the pleasure of watching the game with my husband, my son and his fiance in California, alone with  a bunch of their friends. It was certainly nice watching the game on Pacific Coast time. We made quite the spread of food, including fun appetizers.  I like to review some of the great stories and moments from the game and lessons we can all take away.

Inspired By Barbara Walters

Barbara Walters recently passed away at the age of 93 and I wanted to take a look at her career and life and honor what a trailblazer she was for women journalists. I remember watching her as a young woman myself on The Today Show and I have always been a huge fan of her special interviews.
