Important vs Priority

Last month I spoke to you about the Eisenhower Matrix Also, Stephen Covey talks about this in the seven habits of highly effective people and that is a matrix of identifying what is important, what is urgent, important, not important and not urgent. It's an important principle as we run our businesses forward. Today, I'm sharing a couple of tips on actions you can take to work your calendar forward.

Program your calendar 1, 30, 60, and even 90 days forward. It's a great habit to have. Create time blocks to include your personal time, client time, and time to to grow and scale your business. When you proactively block off time in those three areas, then you're actually leading your business forward and decreasing the urgent meaning the stressful moments. The more we proactively plan, the less reactive we are to the problems and issues that can arise.

Take some time and block off your calendars look forward for March and be bold. Even look at April and May and block off that personal time that gives you the energy to be creative and plan forward for your business. Block off your client fulfillment, your project fulfillment, your business fulfillment as well as networking and other activities, and time to scale and grow your business.

What activities do you need for that and what time do you need to block out in order to accomplish it? Let me know how that goes, see you next time.
