Planning, Priorities = Results

I talk a lot about strategic planning. I talk a lot about having an action plan. If you've been following me for a while, you know, I'm all over it.

There are times that you make a plan that you know you're going to need to adjust. There are one of those times in my life now.

We have a grandchild coming, hopefully God willing in February or in the next few weeks. Whatever it's looking like, as long as that child is healthy, that's what we care about.

Bottom line is though, when I'm working on my February calendar, meeting clients, networking, and doing the various things that I do, like my team meetings, our blogs, our podcasts...everything that gets done.

We plan a lot in advance for these type of things. Yet, we also need flexibility.

What I mean by that is understand your priorities. When you understand what your priorities are, as things shift, you can make clear, grounded decisions.

That is my big tip for today. Know what your priorities are, create your plans, and then when plans and they will, you are prepared.

This coming month is a month of my plan shifting around because I could ask my daughter, how could I help you? What do you need?

It's her first child. She doesn't know. But I know as a mom, I'm going to be there.

So have you priorities straight. For me, it's always family first.

My clients have been amazing. They're all so excited for me. We schedule appointments but if we need to change something, they say don't worry about it because that's how all of our values are aligned.

Know your values, create your priorities, have your strategic plans and then have a breath and have some flexibility as you need it.
