From Seeds to Strategies: Unearthing the Business Lessons Hidden in Your Garden
As you know from my last video, I am a big gardener in the summertime.
The analogies between growing a business and growing a garden are interesting.
Take, for example, when you discover something growing in your garden. At first you don't know if it's a weed, a flower, or a vegetable.
So you have to let it grow for a while until you can determine if it's worth keeping, if it's bearing any fruit.
The business parallel is this:
Every so often a bit of an obstacle comes up, a kind of curveball in your path to growth and success. You then consider what to do with it.
Do you want to get rid of it or do you want to wait a little bit to see what we can do with this that can provide a catalyst of growth.
I'm seeing this coming up with a variety of different clients in very, very different ways.
There's an obstacle challenge and my first question is, let's see what we can do with this.
Is this a growth opportunity.
Is there something we can expand here?
What can we do that will have an impact and long-term positive effect on the business because they showed up for a reason to teach us something.
When obstacles challenges, or those weeds pop up, before you just rip them out of the ground, take a look and see if they have an opportunity to flower. If they have an opportunity to really do something for your business and for yourself.
Of course, if you have any questions or you want to share your growth opportunities with me, feel free to connect with me.
