How To Reflect, Review, And Move Forward in Your Business

We're halfway through the year and you want to know what you should be doing as a great business leader, as CEO president of an organization. Now is a good time to reflect back on your strategy for 2023.

Take a look at your financial plan and how you're doing with it by asking yourself the following questions.

What were your financial goals?

Have you been hitting things consistently?

What is working for you and what is not?

Where are new clients coming from?

Is new revenue coming in?

Where opportunity is showing up?

Check in with your marketing and your sales.

What is working well in marketing?

Where are you getting those financial results? Numbers play through your entire business and I love to say numbers tell a story. Are you reading the book?

When I talk about that, I talk about looking at your financial plan, your marketing plan, and the numbers that are sitting there.

How are sales going?

What is working well; where are you showing up?

Where is opportunity coming from?

With new connections, new relationships, what is turning into clients and what is not when you look at all these factors.

It gives you a great insight into what is working, what is not.

What are we going to do the second half of 2023?

What actions are we going to be consistent on that have been working?

What actions are we going to take a step back on?

Maybe shift change, revitalize, and put some fresh energy around. I knew this was a good idea.

I'm going to spend some more time on this the second half of this year.

Last month, we had our team retreat and we're putting new energies regarding things for Slater success that we haven't put energies around in the past. We also looked at what has been working well in our financial plan, our marketing plan, and sales plan.
