“What Do The Numbers Show?” Eighteen Years at Slater Success

I always tell my clients to ask, "What do the numbers show?" Well, Slater Success is celebrating our 18th anniversary this year — and the number itself couldn't be more significant.

In Hebrew, 18 is Chai — חי — the word for life. And I can't think of a more appropriate word to mark this milestone. Because everything we do at Slater Success is about bringing more life to the work you do, the teams you lead, and the business you've built.

Eighteen years.

When I look back, I am truly moved by what we have built together — and I mean together, because none of this exists without the extraordinary clients who have trusted us with their businesses, their visions, and sometimes their deepest fears.

I entered the world of coaching and consulting with over twenty years of lessons from building Slater Graphics, my own seven-figure printing business (in New York City.) I’ve learned that sustainable success is never just about tactics — it lives and breathes through relationships.

That insight is now the foundation of every strategy session, every leadership training, every mastermind retreat, every stage I've stood on, every Slater Success blog, and every conversation on the Her Success Story podcast.

Eighteen years of watching C-suite executives find clarity, women entrepreneurs step boldly into their power, and executive teams reshape how they communicate, lead, and develop. Watching clients transform their uncertainty into confidence and become unstoppable — that is really what fills my heart with joy and purpose. That is our Chai.

And yet, as proud as I am of where we've been, what excites me more is where we are going. The leaders I work with are bolder, the conversations are deeper, and the hunger for real, meaningful growth has never been greater.

I believe the next chapter of Slater Success will be the greatest yet — not because the work becomes easier, but because eighteen years have shown me how transformative it can be when the right strategy aligns with the right mindset, and when business leaders give themselves permission to lead at their highest capacity. The best, truly, is yet to come.

So on this Chai anniversary, I want to say something I don't say nearly enough: THANK YOU!

  • Thank you to every client who said yes — to the work, to themselves, and to the belief that their business could be something extraordinary.

  • Thank you to my incredible team, whose dedication makes everything possible.

  • And thank you to my colleagues, whose energy, courage, and commitment to growth inspire me every single day.

Here's to eighteen years of Chai — and to all the life still ahead of us.

Are you ready to write your next chapter? I'd love to be part of it. Connect with me todayand let's talk about what's possible for you and your business in the year ahead.
