Breaking Prejudices: Meeting Leaders with Integrity Across All Spaces

Recently, we did a blog newsletter on private equity and the alignment in leadership teams, and I thought I'd pop in to give you my unsolicited opinion here on what I believe gets a lot of bad press.

There are great leaders in so many spaces and there are bad leaders in some spaces.

Whenever I go to meet new people and explore new opportunities, I show up with an open heart and an open mind. When collaborating with leadership teams and their private equity partners, we always prioritize the company’s long-term interests. I have deep respect for the integrity of all parties involved.

So, yeah, maybe it's a little bit of a rant, but I thought I'd pop in and encourage you when people say, "Hey, you should meet this person"; meet every person with an open mind and an open heart no matter what space they're in.

If you're connected to people or being advised to talk to people in the family office, private equity, or venture capital space, don't prejudge. Show up with that open heart, open mind, and meet people for who they truly are. Do what's best for the long-term success for your company and yourself.

In that, collaborate with great people. If you have any questions I can answer for you, please don't hesitate to reach out. Most importantly, be open minded, see who people really are, and don't categorize them.

I hope this was helpful to your success.
