What Is Your Long Game?

I'm just getting ready to leave for Raleigh in a little bit and heading down to the AENC show where I'm going to be speaking on the Intersection of Strategic Planning and Succession Planning.

It's really important to be aware that strategic planning and your success in planning really go hand in hand even if you're not ready to exit your company or sell your company.

If you think your leadership team is solid, you must be aware that there are people in your company that will eventually leave, and that might be you. It might be for expected versus unexpected reasons.

So it's the really important, especially when you're at this strategic planning season. I've been talking to you guys about this for a while to think about long term.

What is your long game?

That's what I'm talking about tomorrow at the AENC show and helping their association executives think forward for longevity and succession.

Check this out. We're going to be having some video from it to share. Keeping our fingers crossed. We're all going to be looking good.

If you're curious about how these speaking engagements come about, they come about by the consistency of reaching out, connecting, building those relationships, and putting the applications in. It's not 100% very often, if there's a lot of noise involved. Brush it off your shoulder.

This is sales people. Get up and keep on going. Looking forward to telling you more about the show and the next time. See you soon.
