The Impact of Having Gratitude

I love Thanksgiving Week. It's always the time for me that I think about gratitude and the things I'm grateful for.

I don't know how many of you have gratitude practices out there, but I am that geek who truly has always believed in being grateful for all the good and finding the good, even sometimes when it's not so easy.

And I do like going around the table and everybody's sharing what they're grateful for. I think the grandchildren might be a little young for it at 9 months old, but we'll see how that goes.

Let's think about it business wise for a second. What's the impact of having gratitude? It increases our own motivation, it increases our productivity, our happiness and satisfaction in life all at the same time. That's not so bad. As well, it reduces stress and by being less stressed, we get more done.

That's the key to this.

So may your holidays and Thanksgiving week be filled with wonderful joy and happiness. Find one, if not two or three things you're grateful for and enjoy them, embrace them, acknowledge them.

To you and your family, and happy Thanksgiving.
