Strategic Planning Season And The Future Of Your Company

The fourth quarter is always when I like to focus on strategic plans for the future of a company. It's that time to pull your leadership team together, bring your coaches and consultants together, whatever that's looking like for you, and take a half a day maybe longer and think about strategically planning what the future of your company is now.

It's easy to talk about 2025 right now and the plan for 2025. But before you do, think about the vision you have for your company, think forward. An open mind, open heart is the key. With an open mind and an open heart, you can see with a bigger vision. Think forward, think to 2030 right now and say, "Where do we want to see this company in 2030?".

Then, "what do we need to do in 2025 to get there?".

Think about the following things as they relate to your financial plan.

Your marketing and your sales. Remember, marketing and sales are the two sides of the same coin. They go hand in hand speaking as the old printer in the marketing business.

Then work on your team plan. What does your team need to look like when you scale the company? Where do you want it to be for your vision in 2030, and how do you get started? What are some of the first actions you take when you think about this, and are you going in the right direction?

Also look at previous data. Look at what worked for your company this year. What will work for your company next year?

If you have any questions or if I could be a resource in any way, always feel free to just reach out and have a conversation. And don't worry, I do practice what I preach. Our strategic planning day is already scheduled.
