How To Start Getting Things Done After Labor Day
Happy Tuesday after Labor Day.
After our last long weekend of the summer and many of us have kids going back to school. May have been back at school for several weeks already, depending upon where you live.
You or your team have enjoyed various vacations throughout the summer and enjoying the long weekends. I know I have!
Now it's time to get motivated and get back to getting things done. Don't let the overwhelm of it get to you.
Here's my little tip for today in this regard.
Look at your to do list, circle to the top three things to get things done.
What is going to move your business forward? Put it in your calendar, schedule the time, and do it - non-negotiable.
If we keep these actions up of always circling the top three and scheduling when we're actually going to do it, we're checking off more every day and accomplishing an enormous amount.
Remember the one other thing about to do list; they're not supposed to be complete. We're always adding to it.
So don't say, "Oh, I never finished my to do list." You're not supposed to. We're just supposed to be getting things off the list so there's room for more.
Identify your top three, schedule them, and get them done.
