Embracing All Levels Of Our Leadership

Recently, I had the opportunity to kick off the ISM (Institute of Supply Management) event, the evening before the full day event.

Instead of doing the keynote that they asked me to do, we switched it around, and working with their organization, we did a great series of activities where we broke into small groups where I gave some prompts on conversations.

It led me to think about what would the Slater Success community say about these prompts themselves?

Here is one.

What are you most proud of yourself for? Think back this year and think back to that moment that you could really stand up and say, I'm really proud that I fill in the blank.

Another one was when have you mentored somebody? How did it make a difference to them? And how did it feel for you?

We often talk about the importance of mentorship, but we don't often talk about the feelings, the how it comes back to ourselves.

I know every time I've made an impact, I learn so much. So I'm opening these questions up to you.

A couple of the fun questions we asked about was the favorite podcast. One woman in the group said shouted out for Her Success Story. She clearly was on the website and paying attention.

I appreciated it.

We also talked about other podcasts. One of the ones that I'm really enjoying listening to is Wiser Than Me by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. She's interviewing women older than her and learning from them.

I think it's great as we continue to learn, take a moment, and see how you have embraced your own leadership.

What are you proud of yourself for? Leave that comment for me on social media or email me directly at Ivy@IvySlaterSuccessCoaching.com or go on our website www.slatersuccess.com and leave a comment there.

As we embrace all of our levels of leadership and who we are and how we are growing, we will continue to learn and grow as a community.
