What's Your Next Move in 2020?

2020.

Some businesses panicked.

Some businesses prospered.

Some businesses paused.

Some businesses pivoted.

Some did one or all of these in the last few months. As we enter July, we also enter the last 6 months of this curveball year.

It’s an opportunity to reground ourselves, try to remove emotion from decisions and look at budding the strategic plans needed to move forward.

Review your last 90 days.

What changed for the better? For the worse? How can you shift and what actions can you take as you build your new, 90-day plan?

Try something new. If not now, when? An idea that seemed completely out of the box could be the ticket right now.

When I started twice weekly open, Zoom calls on being a visionary leader during unexpected times, I had no idea how they would work or IF they would work.

I knew I wanted to create a space for business owners and entrepreneurs to come together and find support. Over 50 different people have joined in on those calls and now I’m adding a new element of bringing in special guests for Q&A sessions. The conversation is continuing.

If your gut is telling you to do something, it’s probably time to do it. We all avoid things, we all have resistance, but when we find clairy around an idea, then we can really figure out how to get started.

Commit to yourself, hold yourself accountable and do what you say you want to do.

2020 has been an odd, or you can say interesting, year for my business as well. I have made adjustments to my business plan and supported my clients in shifting, pivoting and navigating their plans. Yet, I’ve had the opportunity to interview amazing podcast guests and keep releasing a weekly episode, continue to network and build relationships on Zoom, continue to speak on webinars and other online events, connect on a deeper level with my team as we navigate challenges and spend more time at our lake house and with my family than ever before!

This has been a year of lessons, a year of firsts and a year that has kept us on our toes.
